These are the types of photographs that don’t just take you back in time, but take you back to a feeling. We all have a beautiful story of life unfolding and I’m honored to capture it.

01. What is your approach in your sessions?
02. How much do you help planning a session?
My approach is documentary, candid, casual. I also like to throw in some editorial posing if you are into that sort of thing. I will always tell my clients not to look at the camera unless I tell you to! I try to let the natural chemistry of my clients flow and will lead the session organically that way, if you’re having a hard time feeling comfortable I will give some prompts to help you warm up! In my sessions with families I always like to let the children lead the way. The more fun we incorporate, the more cooperative and happy your kids are. Let them play and have fun, it's part of the process!
I love to help plan sessions, it’s one of my favorite parts of the process. I will take a FaceTime call with you to pull outfits for your session or we can send photos back and forth. I frequently send inspiration boards and color palettes to my clients to give them a starting point on what to pull. We always want to take into consideration your own personal style and also the setting the photos will be taken. I offer location guidance for all of my clients and will help you choose the time and location if you need the support. One thing I deeply encourage is thinking about places that are SPECIAL to you: you won’t regret having your photos done in a meaningful location. It helps put you at ease and tells your story through photographs.
03. When do we get back our photos?
My turnaround time is always listed in your contract! Currently regular sessions are 4 weeks and weddings are 8 weeks!
04. Do we get sneak peeks?
I offer sneak peeks for all sessions besides mini sessions, these come back to you within 48 hours unless otherwise stated.
05. Do you travel?
I am down to travel for love! Where do you want your story told? Let's go! Travel fees apply. Just let me know the location or area and I’ll quote you!
06. What if weather is bad?
I live in the PNW, this means that often the weather is “bad”. I will shoot your session in the cold, rain, wind, cloudy day. I promise it’s not all bad. If the weather is pouring rain or dangerous in any way I will contact you to move your session date. If you are set on blue skies I recommend booking mid summer and crossing your fingers that the PNW blesses us.
